Our destination this week is Yellow Lake, a natural lake surrounded by the Klahanie neighborhood. We will meet at the Starbucks in the Klahanie Shopping Center ; please use the above address in your GPS. A graveled and soft dirt loop trail will take us through the forest buffer zone to the lake itself, which we will circumnavigate, and then return to the Starbucks, convenient for our usual post-walk ( optional) snack.
Our total distance : a little more than 2 miles, with an elevation change of less than 20 feet (whew!)
Guests are welcome , as are well-behaved dogs on leash.
