Evans Creek Preserve, June 16 2023, 10:00-NoonEvans Creek Preserve is a 179 acre natural area in the Redmond/Sammamish area. It includes portions of Evans Creek, wetlands, and meadows. Hopefully we will see the Lupines blooming.
The address to the parking lot where we will start is 4001 224th Ave. NE, Redmond, WA. 224th Ave NE is a road off of State Route 202 (SR202 is also know as NE Redmond Fall City Rd for the turn area onto 224th Ave. NE). When going south on 224th Ave NE, turn right after about 400 ft. to the trailhead parking. Look for the Evans Creek Preserve sign and for Larry in his bright red Jacket.Dogs on a leash are allowed. The trail is dirt/crushed rock paths with board walks and foot bridges.We can decide if we want to meet for coffee/snacks afterwards at Peet's coffee, 17887 Redmond Way (near Whole Foods).IMPORTANT:
