The Eastside Neighbors Network (ENN) is a local nonprofit "virtual village" whose mission is "Connecting Neighbors for Friendship and Well-being in Life’s Third Act.” Pre-COVID-19, we hosted speakers on topics of interest to older adults, and held numerous informal get-togethers for our volunteers, members and friends.

 

Now that in-person gatherings are off the table, we have adapted our approach so that we can stay socially engaged even while physically isolated. Like other villages," we have become a truly virtual organization - meaning that nearly all our programs are conducted online or by phone using Zoom, the popular video and phone conferencing application. So our monthly gatherings at Tutta Bella have become weekly video chats, bringing people together for friendly conversation about topics of interest.

 

This week, we'll ask participants to share how they are socializing and with whom. We welcome new people! If you are not familiar with Zoom, we have volunteers standing by to help you out. No log-in is required (and it's free, no strings attached).
