Spend the morning with fellow walkers in a beautiful wooded area with ponds and wetlands. The trails are well maintained, with a nice variety of terrain: hills, flat, woods, and open. The maximum elevation gain could be 400 ft. We can walk  2 or 4.5 miles, depending upon our inclination that day. And if it happens to be raining the over-story of the forest will keep us dry. Boots or similar shoes are recommended because this park is also used by horseback riders, and they don’t pick up.
Additionally, there is a short, wheel-chair accessible interpretative loop. Because this is a wildlife preserve dogs are not allowed.
As usual, afterwards we will stop for coffee, etc. nearby.

WTA advises that GPS sometimes may lead you astray, so use these directions:
From Bellevue, drive east on SR 520, taking the exit for Avondale Road. Continue on Avondale Road, and after 1 mile go slight right at the fork onto Novelty Hill Road, before the traffic light. Go straight for 2.3 miles, and turn left at Redmond Watershed Preserve sign across from 218th Ave NE. Follow that road to the spacious and free parking lot, and park at the end of it. There are good restrooms there.

 See you there.
